Judy Bumstead

Judy Bumstead lives and works in Calitzdorp, a small town in the Klein Karoo. I believe Judy is one of our finer painters and it is a mystery to me why she is not more celebrated than she is, but perhaps her fairly reclusive lifestyle is the reason.

' Swaarkry' was her first installation and is both visually beautiful and emotionally moving.
