ABOUT THE ARTIST
Jammet was born of French parents in Zimbabwe. She grew up and was educated in Kenya, India and Japan. At age 19 she moved to South Africa where she began her career as a painter in 1974. As an artist she is completely self taught and was a director of the Tait Gallery in South Africa from 1983-1986. Since 2001 she has lived and worked in Italy.
